CBT

CBT or Cognitive Behavior Therapy is a form of psychotherapy based on the idea that we can improve our mental health if we change our negative, maladaptive cognitive processes and replace them with positive, healthy cognitions. Dialectal behavior therapy, or DBT is a therapeutic modality especially useful for individuals who need help learning to regulate their emotions, replace self-destructive behaviors with positive coping skills and develop the skills needed to maintain healthy relationships. It is applicable to a wide range of mental health challenges, as it assists the individual with improving problem solving and increasing distress tolerance.
